Advanced Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Biological and Medical Sciences

The ADRIC Association organized, on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax, a training session entitled “Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Biological and Medical Sciences.”
Led by Dr. Majdi Karray, a pharmacist and expert in information systems and Big Data, this event brought together physicians and biology researchers, with attendance limited to twenty participants to encourage interaction and exchange.
The main objective of this training was to introduce professionals to the practical applications of artificial intelligence in the medical sector, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and patient monitoring. The rich and well-structured program began with an introduction to the fundamental concepts of AI applied to medicine, followed by an exploration of its use in disease diagnosis through examples of algorithms, and then its role in optimizing treatments and personalized patient follow-up using real-time monitoring tools.
